Energy Efficiency Measures

Our objective is to ensure that our clients implement energy saving measures which will continue to give payback over the lifetime of each measure.

You will have an interest in our Energy Efficiency Measures …

  • If you have not addressed the 2018 Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) through which the Government requires all landlords to comply in order to continue letting their properties.
  • Or if you need an energy assessment to help decide which measures to apply to your building stock in order to improve cost control on energy expenditure.

We can arrange the necessary statutory Energy Efficiency Audit giving you the MEES Report and recommendations for achieving Band E or above.

If you already have your MEES Report or have decided that you wish to implement your own energy efficiency strategy then we can help with appropriate measures and perhaps the funding, if you need it!!

Commercial and Public Sector Marketplace

AGPHD has access to EPC surveyors and networks who are seeking funding for their commercial clients as a result of the current drive to install EEM. As stated above, we are able to facilitate this funding through our AF Panel and/or through our agreement with Octopus Energy.

In addition, we have a number of EEM available to us and have agreed joint services agreements with EEM technology providers. Specifically, at the moment, we are able to resource

  • Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Battery Power Storage
  • Biomass Boilers
  • Ground Source Heat Pumps
  • LED Lighting
  • Smart Metering

We are seeking additional providers (including supply, installation and warranties) for

  • Double Glazing
  • Heating (Electricity, Gas and Oil)
  • Property Insulation Technologies
  • Solar PV (We are reviewing a new Solar pv Tile product for roll-out funding at the moment)
  • Other technologies including the ones where we already have supply to ensure alternative and national coverage

Domestic Sector Marketplace

AGPHD has a new opportunity to supply our services (Energy, EEM and Funding) through energy bills to the domestic sector marketplace, (i.e., homes outside of our activities with Housing Associations). This activity is new and results from the introduction to networks operating in the Green Deal sector.

We are only able to undertake this work in conjunction with our Energy Supplier and discussions are underway to conclude a position in the coming weeks.

MCS Approval

All products, services and manufacturers which we make available to our clients are fully MCS approved. This is very important as it ensures a smooth route to achieving measurable energy saving targets and satisfying minimum statutory energy efficiency requirements.
